Bill Jones serves as the sixth president of Columbia International University (CIU). Known as one of the foremost missionary training centers in the world, CIU educates people from a biblical worldview to impact the nations with the message of Christ. To date, CIU has participated in the preparation of thousands of men and women for ministry with over 17,000 alumni ministering in over 150 countries around the world.Bill also serves as chair of the International Leadership Team of Crossover Communications International (Crossover), a mission agency in Columbia, South Carolina, which he co-founded in 1987. With sending bases in Australia, Brazil, Moldova, New Zealand, as well as the USA, Crossover actively works in twenty countries to multiply church planters to plant multiplying churches among the unreached people groups of the world.A passionate communicator, Bill has spoken to thousands of people around the world. He has also authored several books, most recently, Putting Together the Puzzle of the Old Testament and Putting Together the Puzzle of the New Testament.Bill graduated summa cum laude from Georgia Institute of Technology and holds earned doctorates from both Columbia Biblical seminary and Gordon-Conwell seminary. Married to Debby Jones, speaker and coauthor of Lady in Waiting, they have four grown children.
