Born in Wordsley, West Midlands, England. Claire's formative years were spent variously in Wordsley, Midlands and Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire. Initially pursuing a career in law, her love of language remained, as did her creative ambitions. A self-confessed romantic and dreamer, since becoming a mother, she has found the time and confidence to pursue her long held ambition to become a writer, successfully completing a course in journalism with the prestigious London School of Journalism, before carving out a career as a feature writer. Claire is married to a Product Design Consultant. They have one son. They both work from their home in Kingswinford, West Midlands.
