About the Author

Adam Ding

Adam Ding, MSc, PQS, GSC, PMP, CC, LEED AP (BD C) , is a project management professional with extensive experience in planning, estimating and managing a variety of commercial, institutional, residential, heavy/industrial, and sustainable infrastructure projects.

Adam holds a Master's degree in Building Construction from Auburn University, a Project Management Professional Certificate from Project Management Institute, a Professional Quantity Surveying diploma from Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, a Gold Seal Certificate from Canadian Construction Association and a LEED AP (BD C) certificate from Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) . Adam has had a successful career in the industry, working at all stages of project development cycle from planning, design management, estimating, project coordination to operation and maintenance. He is the sole author of a series of popular DeWalt Construction books covering general contracting, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems (all published by Cengage Learning, available through Amazon) . His latest books include "LEED GA Guaranteed", "PMP Guaranteed" and "PMBOK 5th Edition Lab Manual using Microsoft Project" on Amazon Kindle.

Currently, Adam lives up north in Central Canada with his family. He's also instructing in Red River College Construction Management degree program as well as the evening Building Construction Technician certificate program. Recently, the student team he coached won the national championship (1/62) in 2014 Student Bid Competition organized by the Construction Institute of Canada.
