About the Author
Kate Farrell
Kate Farrell's first two books (Sleeping on the Wing and Talking to the Sun) were co-written with the poet Kenneth Koch. The four that followed are anthologies that illustrate poetry from around the world with art works from the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the National Gallery. She has taught at Columbia University and the New York State Poets in the Schools Program and has published her poetry in numerous journals, including Poetry, Partisan Review, Harvard Review and The Hudson Review. Her work has also appeared in several editions of Best Spiritual Writing edited by Philip Zaleski. She has just completed a book of her own poetry and is working on other writing projects.
