She is a co-founder of the website Grown and Flown and the community Grown and Flown Parents. She has written for The New York Times, Washington Post, The Atlantic, Vox, Forbes, NBC News.com, Money Magazine and many other publications. Lisa hold a master's degree in business from the MIT Sloan School and is a graduate of UCSD. She and her husband raised their sons outside of New York City.
