Richie Frieman was born in Richmond, Virginia on April 21, 1979 but moved to Baltimore, Maryland as a young child where he grew up. A modern day Renaissance man, Richie is an award winning children's book author, illustrator, entrepreneur, former professional wrestler and the host of the popular Modern Manners Guy podcast on the Quick and Dirty Tips network (with 6.6 million podcast downloads, and counting!).As Modern Manners Guy, his distinct voice stems from his colorful career history, which includes stints as a professional artist and a professional wrestler. Whether in the boardroom or in the wrestling ring, Richie has seen manners at their best and their most bizarre. Richie's outlook on modern manners is humorous, honest, and above all else, practical. He is routinely featured on FOX News, Huffington Post, Shape Magazine, FHM, Sharp Magazine, Wall Street Journal, Baltimore Sun, and many other media outlets.Richie's children's book series, "Terple" is a poetic and adventurous tale of a young turtle named Terple who lives by the motto, "always dream bigger". Never settling for the sky as the limit, Terple insists "the sky is just the start". Richie has done countless readings and signings of Terple, with a live puppet (and puppeteer) acting as the voice of Terple for the readings. Richie's belief of always giving back is the key backbone of Terple, by offering a portion of his profits from Terple books sales to charity. Continuing Richie's entrepreneurial spirit he is the inventor of Collar Keeps, a revolutionary fashion accessory aimed to cure the flared collar on dress shirts.Along with Richie's work in the arts, he has been known as the professional wrestler, "The Thrill From Israel" Buster Maccabi since 2000, having won more than a dozen titles in various pro wrestling federations throughout the country.
