JUDD TRICHTER was born and raised in New York City where he attended the Horace Mann School in the Bronx. He became a child actor after booking a small role in the movie Big then later took a break from performing to attend Yale. After graduating with a BA in English literature, Judd moved to Los Angles, where, in addition to acting, he worked as a truck driver, a telemarketer, a PA, a private tutor, an inner city teacher, and a columnist for The Idiot Magazine. His short stories eventually came to the attention of Tucker Max who began publishing them on the Rudius website under the title "Filth." Judd wrote and directed the short film "Damn You Stephen Hawking," wrote a pilot called Shylock for Lawrence Bender and Fox TV, and sold options for the feature films Fresh Kills and Lymon Booker's Blues. He currently resides in Los Angeles where he drinks scotch, writes for TV, and attends every prizefight he possibly can. Love in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction is his first novel.
