He is also the Chairman of the Investment Committee. Money, Worth, Mutual Funds Magazine and Medical Economics have named him as one of the top financial advisors in the United States. Bloomberg Wealth Manager named The Welch Group, LLC one of the 150 top Wealth Management firms in the country. Mr. Welch has authored (or co-authored) four books: The Complete Idiot's Guide To Getting Rich (Alpha Books, NY, NY) ; J.K. Lasser's New Rules for Estate and Tax Planning (John Wiley & Sons, Inc., NY, NY) ; J.K. Lasser's Estate Planning for Baby Boomers and Retirees (Macmillan, USA) ; and 10 Minute Guide to Personal Finances for Newlyweds (Macmillan/Spectrum) . In addition, Mr. Welch is a financial columnist for The Birmingham News.
