Anasse Bari holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus on Data Mining.
Anasse is a Fulbright Scholar, and is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the George Washington University.
Anasse has over eight years of experience in large-scale software architecture and in designing and implementing software systems under different platforms for both the public and private sectors. Anasse has been recently working at the World Bank Group Headquarters in the Poverty Reduction Group, and then at the Information Management and Technology division where he was involved in a data analytics project. He is the recipient of the World Bank Spot award for extraordinary efforts in service of the organization. While at the World Bank, he attended an executive program at Stanford University' d.school--the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design.
His research has been focused on predictive analytics, data mining, biologically inspired knowledge discovery, and information retrieval.
