She was the first Facebook user at Stanford University in 2004 (where she graduated with a BA in English in 2006) , and worked for Facebook from 2006-2009. She's written six editions of Facebook for Dummies. Carolyn currently lives in Seattle with her family. Her short fiction has appeared in the New California Writing Anthology, Switchback, and The Offbeat.
