Brie Spangler is an author-illustrator originally from the Boston area and now finds herself, sometimes inexplicably, on the west coast. She loves clambakes and baseball. When not drawing pictures or writing words, she can be found avoiding direct sunlight, drinking too much coffee, and snuggling with her husband and daughter. Her debut YA novel, BEAST, was nominated for a Lambda Award and named one of Publishers Weekly's and Kirkus' Best Of 2016.
