About the Author

Kenneth D. Michaels

Kenneth Michaels was born in Detroit. After graduate school, he cofounded San Francisco's renowned Encounter Theatre, which involved the audience in resolving personal relationship challenges. Encounter Theatre was funded by National Endowment for the Arts for over two decades. He has also written for stage and screen and performed his one man show, The Importance of Being Ernst. Recently, his screenplay, A Dog's Day, for the Palo Alto's Humane Society won the coveted Telly Award. He currently lives and works in Key West, where he wrote his debut novel, The Gay Detective.
