About this item

Forget what you think you know about death, dying, and the Afterlife In June 2013, as David Solomon neared the end of his research into 5000 NDE (Near-Death Experience) accounts, an MRI revealed he had terminal glioblastoma brain cancer (GBM) . Given just 15 months to live, the race was on to turn his massive study into a book. 33 months later, and still with us, Solomon, a Christian Minister and scholar, completed The Dead Saints Chronicles, A Zen Journey Through the Christian Afterlife that, through the lens of his own dying experience, magnifies and brings the NDE into sharp focus revealing mysteries of the Hereafter as nothing written before has done. Intended for readers of all backgrounds and creeds, it dispels common myths and calms common fears providing a practical guide towards inner growth and how to hear God s still small voice every day.

David Ben Solomon

Virginia Beach - David Ben Solomon passed away at home surrounded by his loving family in the early morning hours on Sunday, April 18, 2016. Born in Novato, California on January 23, 1959 to Ronald Bruce Earley and Annalee Joan Gregory, David grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia and graduated from Princess Anne High School in 1977.

David served in the United States Airforce as a B-52 Gunner before becoming a full-time apprentice to Paul Solomon for 15 years from 1979-1994. David documented Paul's life during world tours to Egypt, Israel, Europe, Australia and Japan. During this period of teaching and apprenticeship, David studied under many teachers gaining his knowledge and wisdom of the art of Bonsai, and T'ai Chi, all of which he loved.

In 1992 and 2010, Solomon assisted Egyptologist John Anthony West and geologist Dr. Robert M. Schock in re-dating the Sphinx, as well as other Egyptian and Turkish monuments, proving them many thousands of years older than previously thought. David's earlier extensive comet impact research supported the re-dating of these ancient sites. In 1994, he appeared in a supportive role on the national telecast NBC special Ancient Prophecies II, where he discussed the life and prophecies of Paul Solomon, founder of the Fellowship of the Inner Light, where David was also an ordained pastor. After Paul Solomon's death in March 1994, David moved to Washington State and "retired" from spiritual studies to build a family and business.

There, he founded Fast Transact, Inc. Over the next 15 years, the company became one of the largest online payment processing companies in the Pacific Northwest. In January 2010, with the sale of the company, David returned to his spiritual roots and created Akio Botanical Japanese Gardens bringing his love of bonsai to his surroundings and his life.

In July 2011, as the Japanese gardens transformed his property, David began intensive research into the near death experience, a project he would subsequently call The Dead Saints Chronicles. His research was 95 percent complete when he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme IV (GBM) , a rare, aggressive brain cancer that kills 50 percent of its victims within 15 to 18 months. Thirty four months after the diagnosis, David fulfilled his dream of bringing his 1st book The Zen Journey Through the Christian Afterlife to print on April 6th. His book is the first in a trilogy with the second and third books named: Training Wires of the Soul and The Armageddon Stones which will be published later this year.

Mr. Solomon commissioned John Anthony West to edit the Chronicles from April 2014 to its exciting completion in late November 2015.
