The last battle of the Civil War was fought near Brownsville, Texas. After the surrender, hundreds of ex-soldiers from both sides were left without families, homes or any place to go. About the Author
His second novel "Uranium Drive-in" is another Jack Bannister adventure taking place in the mountains and mining country of Colorado. He will soon publish another book titled "The Black Rose Banker" about a beautiful female serial killer.
