About the Author
In 1973 I began work at the Adoptees Liberty Movement Association (later the Alma Society) in New York City. In 1978 I published The Reg Niles Searchbook for Adult Adoptees. The 2nd edition will appear in January 2013. The number of pages will increase from 99 to 939!In 1982 I published Adoption Agencies, Orphanages and Maternity Homes: An Historical Directory.
