About the Author

Judy Hopkins was an internationally-known quiltmaker and designer who made dozens of quilts, wrote and co-wrote numerous pattern and design books for quilters, created a multitude of mystery quilt patterns, and taught and exhibited across the U.S. and Canada. Judy's landmark block book, 501 Rotary Cut Quilt Blocks, is a staple item on quilters' bookshelves. Judy died in 2011. She is survived by her husband, Bill, daughters Blythe and Darien, and stepdaughter Peggy.
