About the Author

Ron Krupp

After many years of farming, gardening, being a commercial grower, founder and manager of mulitple farmer's market through the state of Vermont Ron decided to put his experiences down on paper.

Ron believes that it's a gift to be able to write about one's passion in life. Most of the stories and characters in the book come from the Green Mountains of Vermont, but they could have originated in any rural area where people have a tradition of working the land. He loves to weave his humor, wit, and a good amount of heart throughout his works and share his passion for gardening.

Aside from being an author and local gardening personality, Ron is a strong advocate and patron of community gardens and also teaches gardening at Heartbeet, a farm community in Hardwick, Vermont for adults with disabilities.
