Eric Nadel just completed his 40th year broadcasting Texas Rangers baseball games on the Texas Rangers Radio Network. The 2014 winner of the Ford C. Frick Award from the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Nadel has also broadcast minor league hockey and women's basketball. An avid music fan, Nadel promotes several charity concerts each year and is constantly seeking new musical finds and words that rhyme with Kiner-Falefa and Bibens-Dirkx. He has served as a spokesman and advocate for Focus on Teens, Café Momentum, Campaign to Change Direction and Okay to Say, and the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation. He also supports various animal rescue organizations. Nadel previously published three books, "The Man Who Stole First Base... Tales from Baseball's Past," with Craig R. Wright, "The Night Wilt Scored 100... Tales from Basketball's Past," and "Texas Rangers, The Authorized History." He lives in Dallas, Texas and Durango, Colorado, with his wife Jeannie and dog Kirby, a terrier mix named after Kirby Puckett.
