After a career teaching modern languages, she launched her website www.marticjewellery.com selling one-off pieces and specializing in tiaras and bridal jewellery.Being awarded the title of "Jewellery Maker of the year 2009 in wire-work" by Beads & Beyond magazine was not only a tremendous accolade but also took her on a new career path. She now devotes her time teaching others the techniques needed to make wire jewellery through her many step-by-step tutorials and contributes a monthly project to the UK magazine Beads & Beyond. She has had 30 articles published to date. She lives in Scotland in the fabulous city of Edinburgh.
