Sally is a professional gardener and garden writer living in Somerset, South-west England. She is passionate about growing her own food and has been feeding her family from the garden for over 20 years. You may have come across her writing in her column for the Royal Horticultural Society's magazine, The Garden, or perhaps her regular articles for BBC Gardeners' World magazine. She's also a contributor to Grow Your Own, The Guardian, Countryfile and The English Garden. Her first book, Growing Self-Sufficiency (all about everyday self-sufficiency you can fit in around the day job) is published this year by Green Books. She also teaches at the online gardening school and leads garden tours for HF Holidays.
