Brought up in a Christian home, Ann studied history and philosophy at a secular university where she often found herself agreeing with the skeptics of her faith. Prepared to ask the difficult questions and follow the evidence to its logical conclusion, she found herself coming full circle to a cleaner and more defined faith.Now encouraging others to boldly examine their own beliefs, Ann has written Permission to Doubt, a "thinker's guide to faith" that reaches people on a very personal and practical level.Ann C. Sullivan--author, freelance writer, book reviewer and a popular international speaker--has worked as a teacher and conference speaker for over fifteen years. She has served as coordinator and trainer for Women's Ministries at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin, an outreach that ministers to over a thousand women every week.
