About the Author
Jennifer Bobrow Burns is an experienced career counselor, academic administrator, and writer. She has provided career and academic counseling to thousands of students and alumni as well as directed and developed new career services programs at institutions including Quinnipiac University, Columbia University, and New York University. The author of three books for Checkmark Books's Career Opportunities series, Burns also teaches at the college level. She holds a BA in English from Cornell University and an MA in Counseling from New York University. Currently, she is the Director of Industry Relations and Administration at the NYU Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism, and Sports Management.
