Jesse grew up dancing, singing, reading, and writing in Madison, WI. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, she moved to Los Angeles and worked at Nickelodeon Animation Studios. After that, Jesse went to New York City where she was an assistant editor at Penguin's Dial Books for Young Readers, and after that, she came back to Madison, WI where you can find her writing books and eating way, way, WAY too many cheese curds.
