Chap Clark

Chap Clark (PhD, University of Denver) is professor of Youth, Family, and Culture and Coordinator of Fuller Studio at Fuller Theological Seminary. Chap is president of ParenTeen™ (www.parenteen.com) , a frequent speaker, consultant and author. He was formerly the senior editor of YouthWorker Journal, a Sojourner contributing writer and "Red Letter Communicator," and is the author or co-author of over 23 books, including the new "Youth Ministry in the 21st Century: 5 Views" and "Adoptive Youth Ministry: Integrating Emerging generations into the Family of Faith," Hurt 2.0: Inside the World of Today's Teenagers (all Baker Academic, 2011) , and Sticky Faith (with Kara Powell, Zondervan, 2011) .

Chap has served in many diverse settings over his career. He is on call as a consulting producer for reality television, has been a senior and administrative pastor, and is a regular commentator on social issues, especially as relates to the Christian community and society and media. He was on the Young Life staff for 15 years and his "day job" is teaching master's and doctoral students in youth, family and culture.

Dee, a marriage and family therapist who specializes in "equine assisted psychotherapy" (www.healingreins.com) and Chap (www.chapclark.com) have been married for 35 years, and have three grown children. Their base home is in Gig Harbor, WA and spend lots of time in southern California.
