Ann Bryant

Ann Bryant is the author of over 100 books roughly 75% children's fiction - ranging from picture books to novels and series for 9 - 12 year olds - and 25% primary music resources. Her book TEACHING KS1 music won MUSIC PUBLISHERS' BEST NEW PRODUCT AWARD 2002. Ann says 'I am a serial series writer, and love writing about families, friendships, fun and most of all, fitting in.' Ann's series 'INTRODUCING CLASSICAL MUSIC THROUGH STORIES' combines her two careers of music educationalist and children's author, and a great highlight was 2 concerts in 2008 with the Royal Liverpool Philharmoic Orchestra, featuring 4 of her stories. When she's not writing Ann loves reading, cinema, theatre, walking, cycling, swimming, but most of all spending time with family and friends. She lives in Kent with her husband but travels all over the country and internationally giving 'author talks' in schools, and music workshops.
