Rita Santos has written several books for children and young adults and edited many books for adults. She earned a Masters of Science in Publishing from Pace University. When she's not writing or editing she loves traveling. Her greatest adventure so far was meeting sloths at the Sloth Sanctuary in Costa Rica. She is also a debt activist, advocating for the rights of student and medical debtors. Rita lives in New York City with her family and her cats, Aaron Purr and Margaret Catwood.
