Originally from Denver, Colorado, I received my BA in history from the University of Colorado and an MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh. In addition to painting and writing, I work as a children's librarian in Pittsburgh and present story time programs and creative writing and art workshops.I illustrated Old Abe: Eagle Hero, written by Patrick Young, for Kane/Miller in 2010. I wrote and illustrated When You Are Camping in 2012, also published by Kane/Miller. When You Are Camping's heroines, Hazel and Tilly make another appearance in my second book, Let's Take An Airplane available through Amazon and CreateSpace.
