About the Author
I have been making up stories and seeking out the funny side of life since I was a kid. It used to get me in trouble back in Parochial School but it hasn't changed much. I have been a reporter, pet groomer, business owner and now in retirement, I am still at it. I have written hundreds of magazine articles and several books about dogs - how to find the right one, how to groom them, how to learn to be a groomer and open your own business at home and even a humor book about my experiences as a groomer. I have also written about humans - the people and issues in the Boston suburb where I used to live, for a daily newspaper based in Quincy, MA. Once I retired and relocated to the Cape,I began writing features for Prime Time Cape Cod, a magazine published by the Cape Cod Times. I am a widow with three amazing grown children and six adorable and brilliant grandkids - at least in my eyes. I love living by the ocean and am a close neighbor of a beautiful national park, the Cape Cod National Seashore. I am very popular with my friends and relatives, especially in the summertime!
