About the Author
André Darlington is a former restaurant critic and restaurateur turned award-winning beverage writer. He is author of eight cocktail books including Bar Menu (Oct 18) , The Official John Wayne Cocktail Book (Sept 20) , Booze Cruise: A Tour of the World's Essential Mixed Drinks and Gotham City Cocktails: Official Handcrafted Food & Drinks From the World of Batman. André is co-author of Booze & Vinyl Vol. 2 (April 19) as well as Booze & Vinyl -- hailed by Esquire as one of the most anticipated books of 2018, and for which he traveled across the US in a mobile listening van. In 2016, he became an entertainment expert for Turner Classic Movies and co-wrote TCM's Movie Night Menus. His first book, the influential The New Cocktail Hour, began a second life as a best-selling event guide when actress Jennifer Lawrence included it in her online wedding registry. André has been a wine columnist for Mandarin Quarterly, a cocktail columnist for Organic Life, and host of a weekly farmers' market podcast. André has been a guest on national radio and his work has been featured in New York Magazine, PASTE, Parade, Imbibe, PUNCH, and Refinery29, among others.
