Jeremy Arnold's newest book is "Christmas in the Movies: 30 Classics to Celebrate the Season," published by Running Press and Turner Classic Movies. His 2016 book, "The Essentials: 52 Must-See Movies and Why They Matter," is the official companion to TCM's "Essentials" program. His 2012 coffee-table book, "Lawrence of Arabia: The 50th Anniversary," was a supplement to that film's deluxe Blu-ray release. As commentator and film historian, Jeremy has appeared as a guest host on TCM and FilmStruck and at several film festivals, has recorded audio commentaries for the Blu-ray and DVD releases of classic films, and has written over six hundred programming articles for the TCM website. His writing has also appeared in Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Moviemaker, and the DGA Magazine. He has contributed to other books, including Jeanine Basinger's 2003 revised edition of "The World War II Combat Film: Anatomy of a Genre," and "The Call of the Heart: John M. Stahl and Hollywood Melodrama," a new study of the classic director John Stahl.
