About the Author
Having worked as a fashion writer Elle and Vogue.com in the UK, Louise went on to host MTV's hit makeover show, Plain Jane. Based in LA, she now reports live from the red carpet for NBC's entertainment show, Access Hollywood, and hosted the channel's big competition reality show, Fashion Star.
What Louise loves most about the fashion and beauty industry, is when she can relay the tips she's picked up along the way, into advice. Her blog, Front Roe (www.louiseroe.com) became such a popular place for women to ask style questions, Louise decided to write a book full of insider tips.
Louise also works as a mentor to help underprivileged high school girls in California, with the charity Step Up Women's Network, and supports the career organization Dress for Success.
Outside of writing and hosting, her favorite things to do include travel, keeping fit, watching Audrey Hepburn films, red wine (and cheesboards!) with friends!
