About the Author

Carol C. Porter

Carol is the Education Director for Clover Needlecraft where she helps make the company's many unique products accessible and engaging. She is an accomplished author, designer, sewist, quilter, knitter, pattern maker, and crafter. Writing, editing and dreaming up projects for Clover's many tools and techniques is a major focus. Carol is also a disciplined and thoughtful teacher whose encouragement and patience regularly inspires student creativity and success. When not teaching a workshop, Carol is busy in the booth demonstrating Clover's fun and unique tools. Carol is recognized for the strength of her designs and has produced quilt patterns under the "Heatherworks" label. Carol is co-author of Patchwork Pantry, Prettyand Pieced, and has designs in Quilted for Christmas as well as many magazines. She is author of Making Jewelry with the French Knitter and co-author of Bead Weaving on a Loom.
