About the Author
Sara grew up in Mill Valley, California, in a family of five many pets. She went east for college and then further east for a life-changing adventure in Hong Kong. Sara has been teaching English for over twenty years at all levels from fourth grade through college. She writes short stories, personal essays, educational texts, and occasionally a poem or two.
Her biography of Indira Gandhi is due out in 2011.
Currently she is studying Education in a doctoral program in Western Massachusetts. She hopes to study and work in community colleges.
She is grateful for her supportive family, fabulous friends, and beloved students.
