About the Author

Nancy Moses

Nancy Moses's award-winning book, Lost in the Museum: Hidden Treasures and the Stories they Tell, grew out of her experience directing Philadelphia's History Museum, a job she came to after running her own company and holding top management positions in government, public media, and and academe. She is currently serving as Series Creator and a Producer of The Women of Philadelphia: A Documentary, the nation's first television series that explores the history of a city through the experience of its women. Her new book, Stolen Smuggled, Sold: On the Hunt for Cultural Treasures will be published by AltaMira Press in June 2015.
