Pamela Christie

Pamela Christie began writing in earnest among the tomato plants in her greenhouse in Northern New Mexico in the mid 1970's. She began the first of the three Lizard Tales in 2000. Her novel The King's Lizard was awarded the New Mexico Press Women's Zia Book Award in 2007 to honor an outstanding New Mexican woman writer. Pam was educated at the Catlin Gabel School, Bryn Mawr College, Pitzer College and the University of California at Berkeley. Living among New Mexico's captivating characters, (present and past) , and indulging for decades in the beauty of the region's rivers, mountains and deserts, has been of immeasurable importance to her writing.
