PAULA DEEN, Culinary icon and queen of Southern cooking, is a self-made success story who learned the secrets of Southern cooking from her grandmother. She was born and raised in Albany, Georgia and later moved to Savannah, where she and her two sons, Bobby and Jamie, started the Bag Lady catering company.
