About the Author
Mickie Mueller is an author, artist, and illustrator who explores the realms of magic with both visual mediums and the written word. Her mixed media artwork is created magically; she combines colored pencil technique and paint infused with magical herbs corresponding to the subject bringing the power of spirit into her magical artwork. She is a long time contributor to her local alternative faith community and has studied Natural Magic, Celtic Tradition, and has taught magic and folklore in the St. Louis Pagan community. Her art has also appeared as set dressing on SyFy's The Magicians and Bravo's Girlfriends Guide to Divorce. She is a regular author and illustration contributor to Llewellyn's Magical Almanac, and other Llewellyn periodicals since 2007. Her illustrations can also be seen in many Llewellyn books including the Llewellyn Sabbat Essentials Series, The Witch's Tools Series, and many others. She has illustrated tarot and oracle decks including Voice of the Trees oracle which she also wrote, and Mystical Cats Tarot created with author Lunaea Weatherstone, and Magical Dogs Tarot with her husband and author Daniel Mueller.
