Christopher Zoukis, a PEN American Center award-winning incarcerated writer, is the author of the Federal Prison Handbook: The Definitive Guide to Surviving the Federal Bureau of Prisons (Middle Street Publishing, 2017) , Prison Education Guide (Prison Legal News Publishing, 2016) , and College for Convicts: The Case for Higher Education in American Prisons (McFarland & Co., 2014) .

Mr. Zoukis is a regularly featured contributing writer for The Huffington Post, New York Daily News, and Prison Legal News, the nation's most prominent prison law publication. Mr. Zoukis has also enjoyed significant media exposure from the Wall Street Journal's Market Watch, Vice.com, ThinkProgress.org, Truth-Out.org, Salon.com, In These Times, Ozy.com, The Jeff McArthur Show, The Simi Sara Show, TheCommentary.ca, 88.9 WERS' award-winning "You Are Here" radio segment, BlogCritics.org, AND Magazine, and The Examiner. In January 2017 he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (business administration/legal studies) from Adams State University.
