Benson Lee Grayson

Benson Grayson had more than twenty-five years of experience in intelligence operations, including service as a Foreign Service Officer of the State Department and as a Senior Research Fellow at the National Intelligence Agency. He subsequently worked as a reporter covering the Washington political scene.Mr. Grayson is the author of six published books on history and foreign affairs. These include "Russian-American Relations In World War I," "The Unknown President:The Administration of President Millard Fillmore," "Soviet Intentions And American Options In The Middle East," published by the National Defense University Press in 1982.Two of Mr. Grayson's four novels, "My Troubles With Time" and "Strange Science Fiction and Fantasy Omnibus," are works of science fiction, reflecting his interest in that subject. His other two works of fiction delve into espionage, intelligence operations and Washington political intrigue.Mr. Grayson resides in Alexandria Virginia with his wife, Helen, and his himalayan cat, Pork Chop, who attempts to dominate the Grayson household A previous Grayson pet cat, Cooper, had a bit part in "My Troubles With Time." Mr. Grayson says he decided not to include Pork Chop in his latest books out of fear she would demand a starring role.
