About the Author

Jonathan L. Walton

Jonathan L. Walton is the Dean of the Divinity School at Wake Forest University and Presidential Chair in Religion & Society. Previously he was the Plummer Professor of Christian Morals and the Pusey Minister in the Memorial Church of Harvard University. Walton earned his Ph.D. in Religion & Society and MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary. He also holds a BA from Morehouse College in Atlanta. He lives with his family in Winston-Salem, NC, and Atlanta, GA.
