Maia Shibutani is a two-time Olympic Bronze Medalist, three-time World Medalist, Four Continents Champion, and two-time U.S. National Champion in Ice Dance with her brother, Alex Shibutani. In 2018, they became the first ice dancers of Asian descent to medal at the Olympics and are only the second sibling duo in the history of the sport to share an Ice Dance medal.The Shibutanis, affectionately known as the "ShibSibs", are recognized for their close sibling relationship, dynamic personalities, and storytelling abilities. The ShibSibs' ability to connect with people around the world and communicate their own journey has built them a passionate and loyal community of fans and supporters.Kudo Kids: The Mystery of the Masked Medalist is their first book together and the first of many stories they would like to tell off the ice.
