About the Author

Teresa Robeson

Teresa Robeson was born in Hong Kong, raised in Canada, and now lives on a mini-homestead in southern Indiana with her scientist husband. She has a life-long love of children's lit, science fiction, and nonfiction. Teresa draws upon her Chinese heritage, Canadian-American sensibilities, as well as her background in science and love of nature when she writes. "QUEEN OF PHYSICS: How Wu Chien Shiung Helped Unlock the Secrets of the Atom" is Teresa's debut picture book. It won the 2020 American Library Association Asian/Pacific American Award in the Picture Book category and was also a NCTE (National Council of Teachers of English) Orbis Pictus Recommended Book. "TWO BICYCLES IN BEIJING," to be released April 1, 2020, by Albert Whitman, is Teresa's second picture book. Teresa is represented by Natascha Morris of BookEnds Literary Agency.
