About the Author
Jennifer Morris was born in Oregon, where she spent a lot of time helping her grandparents and parents raise mink, rabbits, chickens, and even a few pigs and sheep. She even was bitten by a mink one time! After visiting a llama farm in Palmer, Alaska, she decided to write a story about these wonderful animals, and that's how Come Llamas was born.Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Oregon State University (1993) , and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Alaska (1998) . Since then she has published dozens of short stories, articles, and essays, both online and on paper. Mostly she writes in a journal every day, something she has done since she was nine years old.Jennifer lives in Alaska with her husband and twin cats, Steve and Tucker. She spends her time teaching yoga, life coaching, and hiking the mountains around her home in Palmer.
