Sarah Archer

Thank you for visiting my Amazon author page! Welcome. My first novel, The Plus One ("How to Build a Boyfriend from Scratch" in the UK) , is a perfect example of my favorite type of story to write and to read: one that's character-oriented, with both heart and humor.I've wanted to be a writer since I was seven years old. In my childhood and teenage years, I fell in love with writing poetry (don't worry, I won't make you read any) , then discovered screenwriting and sketch comedy in college at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Straight out of school, I moved to Los Angeles to work in film and television. You know when bigwigs say "Have your people call my people? " I was the people. Since then, I've had the opportunity to shift to writing full-time and have been thrilled to enter the fiction world.I currently live in my home state of North Carolina, but came here by way of Los Angeles, St. Maarten, England, New York City, and Miami. I share my home with my husband and my pug, Lou, who is doubtless snoring very loudly as you read this.I love talking with readers, so feel free to reach out to me on Twitter at @SarahArcherM or Instagram at @SarahArcherWrites, or check out my website at saraharcherwrites.com.
