About the Author
I'm a longterm novelist and short story writer. Born in New Zealand, I moved to Australia in 1986, intending to stay for one year. Life had other ideas! I remarried, worked in migrant health and as a music teacher, but still continue with my love of writing.My stories reflect my own experience of life in all its variety. My characters know about birth and death, success and failure, health and illness, youth and age, love and grief ... and as an author I share with my fellow writers the highs of publication, awards and prizes, as well as the dejection when manuscripts are returned, markets shrink and time seems to pass me by without progress.I have just embarked on a new genre of writing, combining my love of dogs with a romantic streak.
