Mary considers herself a Virginian at heart but longs for the warmer climes of Florida and Hawaii. She's a big believer in giving back and can be found volunteering for a non-profit. Since her early twenties she's volunteered for a variety of positions with various organizations, from disaster services to serving on the board of her local writers group, to teaching CPR.
When not writing or volunteering Mary dreams of building a Writing Shed with heat, electricity, and a bed for her pet Pomeranian. While she loves living with her husband and teenaged sons, she wants a space she can decorate as girly and frilly as her heart desires.
