Jon Bonné is one of the leading American voices writing on wine. He is currently the senior contributing editor for PUNCH (punchdrink.com) , after serving for nearly a decade as the award-winning wine editor of The San Francisco Chronicle. He is also the author of "The New California Wine," which won the Roederer International Wine Book of the Year. Currently he is currently working on his next book, "The New French Wine."

In addition, he serves as JetBlue Airways' wine consultant, creating what Travel Leisure called "the best overall wine selection among U.S. carriers."

Bonné's journalism career spans more than two decades. He has covered food and wine for MSNBC, Saveur, Food & Wine, The Washington Post and The Art of Eating. As wine critic at the Chronicle, where his work won him two James Beard awards, he ran the only standalone wine section in a major U.S. newspaper and selected the newspaper's annual Top 100 Wines.
