Heather Bouwman grew up in Michigan but has called Minnesota her home since 2001. An associate professor of English at the University of St. Thomas, she lives in St. Paul with her two sons. Together they read books, cook, homeschool, and practice a traditional Korean martial art. Every once in a while they clean the house.
