Ben Joel Price

Ben Joel Price is a London based author, illustrator and graphic designer. His first children's picture book 'Earth Space Moon Base' was released in August 2014. His second children's picture book 'In The Deep Dark Deep' is due for release in August 2015. Both are published by Random House, New York.
As well as fantastical children's books, he has also written and illustrated humour books. 'Lovebites' based on his best selling greetings card range of the same name, celebrates the quirks, whimsies and peculiarities of love and life through the medium of food. His second humour book, 'At Death's Door', follows twelve unfortunate trick-or-treaters on a night of sinister shenanigans. It is due for release in the fall 2015 from Skyhorse Publishing, New York.
As well as taking the reigns of writing and Illustrating picture books, Ben is also the creative Director of Symetria Limited - an independent design and publishing house specialising in contemporary greetings cards and stationery.
Founded in January 2011, Symetria cards are available from National high street chains, independent card and gift retailers, variety stores, gift boutiques and galleries across the UK and Europe.
His greetings cards have been showcased at Leading UK trade shows Top Drawer and Progressive Greetings Live and In 2012, his card designs were projected onto the side of London's prestigious Design Museum for the festive event 'Sparkle the Dark Up'.
Ben's passion for greetings cards began during the four years of working as a display designer for the world famous London toy shop Hamleys. He was frequently asked to produce personalised, celebratory and leaving cards for the Hamleys team...and on behalf of Hamleys, even a birthday card for the Queen!
