He writing has appeared in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, the Believer (where she is also an editor) , and other publications. AWOL, a film she co-wrote with director Deb Shoval, will be out in 2016. She is a graduate of the MFA Fiction program at Columbia University and received her BFA in Screenwriting from USC in 2002.
